Response to How to make my gun quieter when pumping?

Today I had my MA1322 out hunting and I got several shots each at jackrabbits, ground squirrels, and crows. I missed all shots, cleanly at least and was wondering if my trying to pump the gun quietly could have been affecting velocity? I was contolling the return stroke to keep the forearm slap down and things just seemed to be off. I didn't take the time to check out my point of impact as the hunting was good and I was distracted. I do have a little felt in place to keep the noise down but it seemed I needed a little more today.

Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.

Dale

      1. Yeah. The speed of the strock doesn't affect the amount of air compressed... - Skyler McConahy on Mar 6, 7:15 PM
