I am in NE PA, and weather is similar. Forget Co2 in the cold unless you want to buy a gun for the summer time only. If so, the Crosman 2240 or AS2250 are goos choices. For a single all-around excellent gun I think you should look at the Crosman 1377 American Classic multi-pump. Run a search and you will see why! I had one 20 years ago and just bought another a few months back... and I do not regret it.
