I'm looking to buy a air pistol maybe a 1377c. Can it kill a squirrel, bird? Can I put a scope on it? If so what mount and scope. What pellets would I use to hunt with? What other mods should I put on it for hunting?

it has enouth power and accuracy for close range hunting but iv never tried to shoot squirrels. as for mounting a scope you hav to options. ether use pro blocks which clamp on to the barrle and give you a 11mm scope mount but i wouldnt use them because apparently they r hopeless and wobble alot. or you can get a steel breech kit which is a HUGE inprovement to the plastic breech which it comes with and it has a 11mm rail on it to mount a scope. u can also change to .22 with a new barrle and bolt. a trigger tune is easy and makes a big difference to accuracy. there are tones of other mods you can do to inprove these pistols.
any good hound head pellets will do but just remember accuracy is the key to a cleen kill allways go for head shots.

it depends where you live

if you live in america parts are easy to get hold of like steel breachs and barrles. you can bye them from crosman if you look on there website or phone them but if you live in the UK like me its not so easy because crosman dont sell to the UK but there is AGS who inport crosman airguns to the UK. there is lots of people who make custom wooden grips and parts in america like crooked barn and RJmachine. its probably best to ask on the crosman forum they know prety much everything about crosman stuf. http://www.network54.com/Index/12861
