I would have to disagree with that. Eddie didn't fight Willie. That wasn't Willie, Willie left the gym under a new manager. The guy he fought was just a jackass who liked to beat on that skinny guy. I don't believe that was Maggie's mother. Maggie's mother showed no sign of rethinking her life, and I think that's a drastic connection to make that she would just start working at the diner that Frankie went to.
