      This is my first viewing.

      The movie is a 15 round emotional world class championship movie.

      The movie parallels any of the greatest "fights" ever fought.

      Eastwood's character "fights" his ultimate championhsip fight WITHIN...
      Swank is this generation' euthanized Rocky Balboa...

      The ends never justifies the means.
      So Eastwood's character (and humanity) loses.

      "Then he just walked out and he didn't have anything left." says Morgan Freeman's character..."somewhere between nowhere and goodbye..."

      Cheap easy way to end the movie.

      I prefer Christopher Reeve's REAL championship fight.
      Reeves truely was/is a "superman" and human being.
