Re: Confronting the OW...

I could have since I knew her but decided not to. The OW could have been anyone. I think it would have only added to my hurt. However I did write a really hateful letter to her which I didn't send!

Marie,

Are you thinking about it, daydreaming about it, or has it actually happened to you?

What do you think could be gained?

Chris.

Yes.

This was my experience and what I encountered:

She had no remorse, regret, nor apology - "I have no regrets and neither does 'he'. At least we were discreet."

She was arrogant - "The problems your family is having with the affair are due to your teaching (of your children). My kids know and are fine with it."

Wha? Her husband wasn't 'fine' with it.

Then after this brief chat, and 3 months after he broke it off with her, she showed up at a social event we attended. She sat there and stared at me.

After 4 years more of marriage they hooked up again. Divorce was 3 years ago and they are still hangin out. I now view them as a perfect pair in many ways that I do not want anything to do with.

It was all quite an experience.

What I am trying to portray to you Marie or anyone else contemplating confrontation with the OP is do not anticipate any outcome. In fact, anticipate the worst possible scenario. Don't do it without support for yourself from someone other than your spouse.

Went to beat his ass and he ran. I am sure we will cross paths again. Karma has a way of jumping up and getting you.

Son of one of the guys I work with, just got shot in the chest the other night messing with another man's wife. He is expected to live, oh well, Karma can't get them everytime. But I bet he thinks twice before he does that again.

Jordan

Stick a fork in me, cuz I am done.

Karma's a funny thing Jordan.

You can pile it up pretty high and deep and not even know it....or why.
