Guess who is feeling sorry?

Guys you are not going to believe this. My H came by last night to apologize for the way he left. He said that now that my daughter is gone with her biological father for the holidays, I am left alone and he said that he feels bad for me. He said that he left acting under an impulse and he is very trouble because of it. On the other hand, he rented an apartment for which he gets the key 1Jan and he made a change of address. So i guess he is not feeling that bad. No he didn’t say that he wanted to come back, but I think that he was trying to plant a seed. But thanks to the Lord for answering my prayers, I have become a stronger person. And this is what I said to him. I get the feeling that you weren’t 100% sure of what you were doing because you still had feelings for me. But the decision is made and now you have to stick to it. As for me, I was humiliated and very hurt, but I am better now. I do forgive you, I will not try to hurt you and I will pray that you open your eyes and see for yourself that you are a sick man. I also told him that I was glad that I was out of a relationship that was hurting me so much.

Tomorrow, I am going to my sister’s house. Is a four hour drive, but I think that time on the road will do me good. I feel bad that he is staying alone because he has no relative near by. But he wanted freedom to pursue his fantasy world, well now he can talk to the entire Internet whores he wants. He doesn’t need me. And for what he has to offer to me... I can live without.

Whoa, Irene!  You go, Girl!!!!

<<But he wanted freedom to pursue his fantasy world, well now he can talk to the entire Internet whores he wants. He doesn’t need me. And for what he has to offer to me... I can live without.>>    That is just wonderful, like straight out of a book like "Love Must Be Tough" or some such.   I am proud of you!!!  And I wish I could have been so succinct and strong when I was dealing with my addict husband.

I hope you enjoy yourself at your sister's.   You gonna bring lots of music for the drive and sing at the top of your lungs?      Merry Christmas, Irene.  Rest in God's love and provision.

Jean

Excellent boundaries.

I wish I had found them earlier than I did.

It sounds like you've been through a lot of the things I have with my ex, especially the addictive cycle. Sadly for my ex, I feel grateful every day that I am no longer with him and have met someone who is an exact opposite. Our split up was a blessing in disguise, too bad I just didn't know it when it happened. Enjoy your Christmas!

it takes a spiritually strong woman to say what you said when you said it...I admire you...how did your trip go? Since this has started I have LOVED solitary roadtrips...they are so therapeutic....I talk to God out loud inbetween jammin w/ Rock& Roll on the radio...I hope you had fun!!!!
