I was just reading some of the new threads for today - and as I scrolled through I thought, "Why does this date sound familiar? What do I have to do tonight?" It took me a few minutes (and a check of my calendar) to realize that today is my one year UN-anniversary! I was divorced one year ago, today. It honestly seems like WAAAAAY more than a year. So much has happened. So many new people in my life. So many good things since then (a few not so good, but more good).

Who'da EVER thunk a year ago I would be so "Ehhh.. who cares" about this date? Not me!!

I always was a 'significant date' kind of guy and I knew that significant dates were coming up but they came and went without noticing... sometimes days after before it hit me even in this the first year.

I too just passed a significant date in my life and didn't even notice it until a few days later, July 23/02 was my d-day one and I sailed right through it this year with nary a thought.....who would have figured that!

I was telling someone my "story" the other day... and I can't remember what my first d-day is! I know the date that the OW's H caught the OW and my ex in bed together because it was 4 days after my anniversary... but I can't remember the date that all hell broke loose for the first time!
