I was very happy that no one responded to that post which contained a web link. It is really just spam and everyone did the right thing. Hopefully we can keep these things from happening in the future but there will always be new members who may not be knowledgeable about what that was.

I spoke to a moderator about it and because this board is meant to be more a "members board" and not a "moderators board" they will just leave it be.

Perhaps if any new members respond to it in the future, we can all just drop it and hope it doesn't turn into anything else.

Thanks for bringing this up, charlie. The moderators discussed Morpheus posts and decided to leave them alone, even though they broke the rule against "solicitation".

The responsibility for dealing with the posts was left to posters who (apparently) decided to ignore them. As it turns out, it worked.

That seems to be the direction that we are heading with "moderating" these forums ... letting them be "self-moderating". It seems to be working so far.

Member owned and member operated - that is the goal.
