Would anyone be interested in setting a time and date for a chat and have a "chat night" here soon? There are several new folks on the site and I think it might be neat to have a "getting to know you" party.
We've done that in the past and it's turned out really well. Cory used to be our "bartender" for these events. Maybe we could talk him into showing up for awhile.
Well either jammies or a costume for Halloween MM.
I think I'll come as a ballerina, I've always wanted to be able to dance on my toes like that.
Judy, it is kinda neat to talk with folks in "real time" on chat. Of course sometimes it can get outta hand. But several conversations going at once can provide for some fun entertainment.

Edited to add........I wonder if we can talk Joe Bob into showing up?

It's been my experience that when discussions like this come up, nothing happens except everyone wants everyone else to make suggestions as to date and time.
So GT, considering that YOU started it, I think YOU should set the date and time... My only blackout date is Friday night, going to a fundraiser.

Ok, how about tomorrow night which would be Tuesday Oct. 11th. Say 8:00 Central time? Does that work? I'm pretty open on the time so we can change that if we need to.
Ok, so we have Joe Bob showing up to crack jokes and Cory showing up to hand out refreshments. MM will be in her jammies. And Charlie is going to host us all. (I made that last part up) but it was worth a shot.
It would be nice if a few other folks showed up-maybe RW could bring some orange chicken, Q could bring some red beans, Chris could bring a Lutheran casserole and Jbean and Kats could bring some Motown sounds. I mean, if we're going to have a chat party let's do it right. Shake it up baby.
Charie, on tap tonight are all 14 beers that Sam Adams makes, along with Molson XXX, Heineken, Bass Ale, Sierra Nevada, and for the heathens, Miller Lite.
Mixed drinks? You name it, I can pour it, babeee...
That's the advantage of a cyber-bar... LOL

Mojito's for me please, with Cuban rum and very lightly crushed mint leaves, well, I trust you to make them just right. Ahhhh. I'll buy a round if anybody else wants one.
We had quite a crew in chat tonight. To everyone who was there, thanks for showing up. It was good to talk with you and get to know you a little better. Everyone was well behaved.....for the most part.
A big thanks to Cory for handing out the refreshments.
To those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you.
GT
James, hope you're still smiling.
