>>>It would have offended quite a number of people if they had been seen to be enjoying themselves on a day when the rest of the world was mourning," he said>>>
I found this comment interesting. It seems that offending the rest of the world because of people "mourning the Pope" is the least of the offenses they should be concerned with when it comes to their union.
Diana used to call her 'The Rotweiller' which I think is fair comment!!
Saw a picture of her yesterday in black, she looked so severe!!
Thought it was really funny that prior to the date of the Pope's funeral being set, Charles announced he wouldn't change his wedding plans - so its not just politicians that do U turns!
I hate the idea of two people who caused so much unhappiness will end up being happy.... I said to my H earlier in the week, I SOOOO hope the funeral is on Friday!!!
I used to be a Royalist, but I've lost all of that since what they did to Diana. And, yes, I believe 'they' had to get rid of her - couldn't have the future King of England with a half brother that was half Egyptian. Yes, I think she was pregnant!!!
Now, Quinn, if I'm gonna get 'done' for libel or something for saying this, can you do one of your 'special edits' please!!!
I'm putting my trust in you, then, Quinn.
What's ROFL?
By the way, he always did look goofy, never understood what Diana saw in him, actually, but then again, as I look so much like Diana and my H is as goofy as Charlie......
Yes, I'm kidding!!!!!
The Grand National horse race, which, I believe has been part of British sporting history since 1839... Well, I'll try and paste what I just read:
LONDON (Reuters) - The start-time for Saturday's Grand National steeplechase at Aintree has been pushed back 25 minutes to accommodate TV coverage of the wedding of Prince Charles to Camilla Parker Bowles.
Personally, I think that should read: The start-time for Saturday's Grand National has been put back because the worlds' two most famous betrayers want it.
I hope she falls over head first into her cake.... and eats it.
"Personally, I think that should read: The start-time for Saturday's Grand National has been put back because the worlds' two most famous betrayers want it."
Sandy, I think it could have read: "The start time for the horse race will be postponed so that the two most famous horse faced people in the UK can get married."
Here in the states, when you see someone with ears as big as his, you just KNOW they're from West Virginia, where all DNA is the same and the family trees have no branches.. LOL
