Last night

I had the best time last night. My boyfriend and I celebrated the first time we met by going to the same restaurant on the beach that we met at for the first time a year ago - yep, can you believe it was that long ago? Anyway, this place is a great restaurant right on the beach, has a great band playing nearly every night outside right by the beach and this band was playing all types of music including the Eagles and more. Drinks in hand we sat around and laughed for several hours, there were some crazy people there. What a fun time. Then we went down to the beach and walked for nearly an hour and a half down and back in the sand. I remember thinking how much my life had actually improved since all that craziness that had happened with my ex and how lucky I was to be out of that marriage and into a healthier relationship now. It was perfect weather outside and there was a cool breeze.

The point of my little story? I just wanted to let those of you who have contemplated lately about suicide or asked if there was life after divorce that there is if you want there to be and I'm also not saying it has to be with a significant other either. I believe the same goes for those of us who are still in marriages after an A who aren't doing so well yet. Little things like this really make me happy and I hope that some of you who don't stop and enjoy the roses sometimes will do it with or without your spouses. It dawned on me while I was sitting there that my ex and I never went to all these very fun places on the beach and why not? I can't answer that, but we should have.

You know, this sure would be a perfect place for another reunion sometime :>) Fun music, crazy people (including you all), a beach and for those who do drink, some beer or fufu drinks :>)

PS I hope you all have a great week. We are going down to Florida (no initials for Sandy:>) to visit my folks starting tomorrow for a week. Let's see if my BF will get sick of me after a whole week together. LOL :>)
