Well, we're back! We actually had a very pleasant holiday. Only one argument (that's good, for us!). It was a bit too hot for an Aussie turned Pommie (Kath, I was born in Penrith, NSW - lived there til I was 16). 35 degrees + in the shade - and that's where I was, in the shade! So, I feel refreshed, relaxed and umm, ready to return to work....
I have a nice photo of myself at our favourite restaurant and it's the only time I wasn't sweating like a pig, but I have no idea how to get it on the boards. Any clever sod out there want to tell me how to do it?

I'm not "up" on the exact geography of Portugal, so I'm not sure if I'm in the right part of the country, but were you anywhere near Villa Franca?

I ask, because that town is named after my great-great-great-grandfather. He was a wealthy landowner who married a princess from Spain. She was promptly disowned from her family for marrying a commoner...

From the big wooss!!! I blame it on old age, not being able to cope with the heat! When I was young, I'd sunbathe all day long, nowadays, I'm lucky if I can manage 10 minutes - and I'm talking sunbathing here!!
Cory, I've looked at the map, and found 4 Villa Franca's so not sure which one is 'yours' but we were about 20 miles west of Faro on the south coast, near ALbufeira. Will send you pic, thanks xxxx
