I am pleased to announce that I asked for Donna's hand in marriage and she has accepted!
We don't have any plans yet except we have shopped for wedding rings together and and planning on getting married in the New Year!
Best Regards,

Good for you James, good for you. I know the committment of marriage will mean a great deal to both you and Donna. And your children must be thrilled. You guys grab that new beginning and hold on to it for all you're worth.
I wish you guys lots of love and communication.
May you always remember what is it to lose your beloved and never let go.
Keep working your yourselves and do share all with each other.
May god bless your union in abundance
Much love,
Corine

Ok my friend, I'm confused. Can we believe what exactly? That Donna was speechless? I still don't believe that one. (Howdy Donna ).
If its that you surprised her with an engagement ring? Nope I figured you were looking for the right one bro.
Congrats you two.
You didn't get it out of a bubblegum machine did you? I tried that once and she threw it back at me and stated she'd rather have the bubblegum. What woman wouldn't want a secret decoder ring? Apparently mine.
Your friend,
Tex(secret decoder ring for sale...25 cents) Maybe I should try Ebay.
I am so THRILLED for the two of you.... and I can't wait to see pics of the ring... (HINT)....
I am sending you both lots and lots of love and hugs... you have worked and struggled and held onto the most important part of yourselves through all of this!!!
Keep us updated on the upcoming event...
HUGS!!!!!

ps...Donna ... speechless?... oh yeah... most women are when they are overwhelmed!! Good Job James!! (big wink)
congrats from me toooo you two - that is fabulous.
donna i am going to refrain from questioning your speaking ability haha, but that would have been good to see.
now james be afraid if you ever need the have doona not speak for a bit you have set up a precedent!!! i hear that earrings, necklaces, bracelets, especially with shiny jewells have a similar effect hahahaha
tex, i think you should try ebay, who knows it could have been the one and only decoder ring and worth buckets now hahahaha.
picking up on the hint regarding seeing the ring, you know you have to take a pic for insurance purposes, so a digital one could be very handy hahah, hint hint
oh and of course we have to see the wedding picks.
hugs to both of you, what a wonderful journey you are having and will continue to have
Thank you everyone for all the support and congrats, things are going really well for us and we are now in the hunt big time for a new house!
We hope to move in the early summer if possible but the housing market here is just crazy, hard to find a decent house for under 425,000cdn and we live an hour from Vancouver!
The good news is our house has appreciated to a huge degree and we have been told it will sell in a heartbeat.
