I guess it would be an understatement to say that Vince Young had a great day yesterday, Tex (didn't see the game; cancelled my cable subscription yesterday morning; bad timing.) Coming back from 38-26 with less than 7 minutes left was quite a feat.
Tex, you put a smile on my face. I couldn't decide who to root for. Texas is my original home and i knew it would mean so much to them to win. but USC was to be my alma mater and i wanted them to continue doing well so that kid would get more good offers after giving up so many good ones to stay and play for the Trojans again.
but your sheer enthusiasm made me decide that i am glad UT won. man! they must have been swarming the campus after that game. any word about what happened in austin after they heard the outcome of the game? buses turned upside down? toilet papered lamp posts up and down the drag?
UofT was Jack311's school. He is over the moon that they won. Maybe when he recovers from his trip to Austin in the wee hours of that night he will tell us how wild it got!! hehehehehehehe
The things I have to do to drag him out of the woodwork....lol

No ma'am,
I think alot of free (Trojan) condoms were used instead of TP. Better safe that sorry I guess.
WE'RE NUMBER 1.
Kiddo: See if you can talk Jack into posting on his adventure to Austin.

Although I didn't have the good fortune to see the game, I understand the Longhorns punched some heeeyoooge holes in the Trojan line. Perhaps Jack would be willing to elaborate.
I need to apologize to Xena. I was on the phone with her when the clock hit 00. I also state I will pay any medicals bills resulting from any hearing loss that can be proved was the result of the game and my reaction to it.
I'm sure my friends here will chip in to my defense fund should a lawsuit arise.
As a Spurs fan I know about winning titles, but there was nothing like this.
I watched the game with several friends at a local watering hole in San Antonio. Chewed the nails down to the nub. After the win we celebrated for some time and then the suggestion came that we should be in Austin. One hour later I'm dancing on 6th street with 40,000 of my closest friends. Bars closed at 2:00, but the party lasted well after. I made it back to San Antonio around 5:00am.
My body isn't built for this anymore. If we win again in 35 years, someone else is going to have to drive.
