Puter is working again, at last!

Hi, I am back again. My puter has been down for months. So an update on me. I lost my job this week due to poor memory skills from my MS. I will probably be going on disability. Scary and difficult, but there is something intriguing about the unknown. We will see what the future brings. Let me know what is up with all of you so I don't have to go deep into the archives.

Hello there; nice to have you back!  I forgot that you had MS.  I am sorry you lost your job -- that's frustrating.  I have thought about going on disability as well, but I don't take meds for the fibromyalgia, just supplements, and sleep, exercise and diet management.  I don't take certain meds for fibro for various medical reasons that I am afraid to tell the gov't about, and fibro is difficult to "prove," so I gave up on going the disabililty path.  It seemed like an overwhelming trek thru "the system," as well, but if you find out other wise perhaps you would email me and tell me of your experience.

If I recall, you are still with your husband, correct?

Currently I'm dealing with a nasty sprained ankle, and the usual nasty "ex."

Hey Jbean

I'm still dating the same guy I've been dating for the past 2 years. Kids are doing well and I still deal with my ex who doesn't do nearly enough with his children but he never did before so nothing is different

Hey you two, good to hear from you. Jean, I don't know what the process is for disability. Just beginning, but my job is cooperative.

Good to hear that the dating is going ok, Charlie. Good for you.

Take care,
jbean

JB!! Hey baby, what's happening?

Nice to see you up and speeding on the information superhighway again...

I'm into my busy time at the moment. Just got back from Maine (my first motivational speech), next up is speaking to the Lion's Club, then off to New Hampshire, then to Chicago, etc. etc....

At least I'll get a break at the end of August. I'm going to Florida for a week to visit my siblings and attend a Queensryche concert...

Cory, you're lucky you get to go to Chicago. Any time for sightseeing? Going to a Chicago Cubs game? I love good 'ole Wrigley Field! I grew up in Michigan City IN, which is about 55 miles from Chicago. Haven't been there is 25 yrs. Have fun!!!!

Barb, no Cubs game in the works, but I'll be doing some touristy stuff one afternoon while I'm there.

I know of two places that are MUSTS for me... Billy Goats (cheesebugga, cheesebugga, no frie, chip!), and I'm going to the top of the Sears Tower.

I'm thinking of heading to Howl at the Moon on Sunday night. It's open mike karaoke night..
