Isn't this gorgeous? I have a friend from here who now lives in San Diego, CA. He misses Fall - and made me promise to send pix of his favorite tree. Actually, he gave very specific instructions, "Sugar Maple, southeast corner of the courthouse, with a '58 Chevy parked on the side street with the barbershop in the background." Hey, I did my best. He will love it because that particular corner makes our town look like SmallMidwestTown, USA.



I also got a really cool shot of a "centennial farm". That means this farm has been in the same family for over 100 years. It's kind of dark, but the sunset through the structure is pretty coolio.

and our leaves are mostly on the ground and have been for a few weeks.

Great pictures. I love to take pictures and capture the magic in nature. I also live in a small mid-western town. I can relate to the scenes in the photo's. On my "main street" we have an old fashioned barber shop and movie theater. Surrounding us are lots of beautiful farms.

Monica, I love fall sunrises and sunsets where the sky fades from orange up and over to black velvet...especially when there's a dark silhouette like the one in your picture. That's a prizewinner in my book.
