A visitor from way back.

Hey, anybody remember me? I joined here in the spring of '02 as hurts2bad, and changed to my current name that fall when my wife moved back home. I haven't posted here in a long time. Just wanted to say that five years past d-day, life and marriage are treating me pretty well. I hope everyone has a good 2007!

Is this the same Scott that had a phobia about things getting on his keyboard and a rule about no food or beverage around the computer ? lol

I'm doing good Scott! Glad to hear that things are going well for you also. Divorced life isn't so bad once you get used to it. I have some health problems plaguing me, but for the most part I am a happy well adjusted kiddo.

I got a chuckle out of my last post - oh the memories - late nights in chat with a bunch of us joking about everything from jello to harleys.

So do you still have your keyboard wrapped in cellophane

Nice to hear from you again!!!

Never really had my keyboard wrapped - just all my TV remotes.

Once upon a time I named a very nice man 'The Weeble King' and encouraged him to increase his vegetable intake.

He goes way back to BAN.

Additional info

February 8 2007, 8:49 PM

The day I started this thread, the idea seemed to come from out of the blue. Funny thing is, my W came home from work that day with interesting news.

Recap: W had A with a co-worker. A ended, and both of them continued to work at the same place. She's over him in a big way. I don't think he ever got over her, but he is in a relationship now and his divorce continues to drag on.

What my W told me after work that day was that he got fired due to poor work performance. Gone, after something like 14 years at the company. He had warning signs and chose to ignore them. I'm not sorry to see him go.

Scott, you may remember that we were in the same place. My W also had her affair with a coworker who was also a good friend of mine.

He got fired a while back as well, for the same reason. Funny thing was, when my W told me about it, it was SHE who felt more relief than I did.

It's understandable... After all, I wasn't the one that had to see him every day...
