It was a whopping 80 degrees today. I actually laid out to get a tan for an hour after school. My son is out with his babysitter playing squirt guns. LOL I hear them screaming. But the sad story is it will be back to 40's tomorrow...Boo Hoo!
I know. My sister called a few hours ago and said a huge cold front came in (one state above me and bout 2 above you) super quickly this evening. She said it went from 70-80 to about 40 degrees within a few hours and was weird how quickly it all was. Guess we're getting it next? It has been a bit windy today.
They adjusted the forecast from 6 - 8 inches to 8 - 12. It's 10:20 pm, we have about 8 inches on the ground, and it just changed over to sleet and freezing rain.
Oh, and it's about 16 here. 40's? I'd be in a T-shirt. Oh wait, I'm in a T-shirt right now... LOL
We have 10 inches of snow right now and it is still coming down fast and heavy. But it is beautiful to look at. This weather is really something else. Nature at its best. Our neighbors are out in their snow mobiles. And if you don't have a 4 wheel drive, you can't get around too easy.
Yes, the snow it pretty but you all can keep your snow. LOL
I guess I'm a scrooge because every time I think about snow/ice I think about a childhood memory. We used to have several acres and it was on a elongated property and when the hose frooze to our horse coral, we would have to get these great big buckets and carry them down this very large hill so our horses could drink water. I remember sliding on my ass down the frozen snow and the buckets of water would pour all over me and I remember once I got back into the house, that my pants were frozen on my legs. It was very COLD!
I guess I wouldn't mind one good snow because my kids really want it.
Well it certaintly is not 80 degrees in these parts, it is a very warm spring indeed. We have no snow left in Tbay (not that we had much this year anyway) and it has been getting up to the 60's during the daytime. Beautiful walking weather
