Howdy all

Been quiet around here lately.

I'm on a nice semester/work break. Taking my little camper trailer out the first time this spring.

Anybody want to stop in for coffee, buttermilk pancakes, and real maple syrup?

Do you have cream and splenda for the coffee?

Is it homemade maple syrup from the North Woods?

Chris.

Yep. The real thing Chris.

Oh now I get H2C's request for 'Splenda'! He wants cream for the coffee and Splenda for the mosquitoes.

"Splenda is the trade name for sucralose, a synthetic compound stumbled upon in 1976 by scientists in Britain seeking a new pesticide formulation."

Hey Rose head on up my way.........I'll have to pass on the pancakes and the syrup though. Maybe a nice light yogurt with some fresh berries?

Had a flat tire on the trailer and two dead batteries to deal with. Then I de-winterized it myself - somehow.

It was fun putting all the doo-dads back in the drawers and cupboards. It's like a play house.....to play in.

I need some play time. Really really bad.

I've been playing in my yard. Flowerbox, small garden, yard furniture...I finally attacked that old metal porch glider that's been sitting rusting and neglected for years.

Those gliders are relaxing.
Swings are nice too.

I'm going to plant lots of pots on my patio which is all the gardening going on these days.

RW, if you want to head out to my 'hood, I'll offer my electrical outlet for your camper if you make the pancakes...

We could leaf through Dr. Suess books, then roam around town and see the actual buildings that are featured in the books. When Kat and the T-Man visited, I showed them a few spots... Kinda cool.

Charlie, anytime you want to come up and visit, the door is open. Here's a Dr. Seuss "tease"....

The bridge that is on the cover of "Green Eggs & Ham" has a name. It's called Memorial Bridge, and it crosses the Connecticut River, connecting Springfield with West Springfield.

Mulberry Street? You can find the Elementary School my son attended there..

Cory

I just gave my sister who has very young girls two large boxes of books including all our Dr. Suess books and sadly my memory is just not that great!
