I am officially declaring this national "Moderator Day."
Just because I can.
We currently have four moderators on this site. Kat, H2C, Charlie, and Monica. They volunteer their time on a daily basis reading posts and sharing their experiences with members. They also spend time behind the scenes posting on a moderator's board discussing any issues that need to be addressed.
There is no pay. Only the good feeling of having helped someone who is walking where they once walked.
So, when you pass one of the moderators on a thread today please take a second to tell them how much you appreciate them.
Moderators here and there
Moderating everywhere
Reading, watching; they're the most
And have the power to delete your post
You'll know it if they slap your hand
Get out of line and you'll be banned
Moderators here and there
They may be in their underwear
Thanks to all of you a MILLION times over. You all have helped me with mine and others problems (that I read) so much. There are times when I feel I have no one and no where to go and you come back with honest answers and advice without judgement.
I personally am glad you guys are here and that you care for strangers.....you all have re newed my faith in mankind.
That picture has too much facial hair for it to be me, so I'm ruled out.
It is a pleasure to help with this board. This board and its predeccors helped me at some very bleak times in my life. Being a moderator is my attempt to pay it forward.
Our admins are pretty rockin' too...
Monica
My yesterdays are all boxed up - and neatly put away.
Sending "virtual" chocolates & champagne your way to say THANK YOU for everything! (Since Charlie is in this group maybe I should change that to chocolates & margaritas?)
