We made national news on Friday. Most of Tbay is in a State of Emergency as we received almost a foot of rain in a 12 hour period and it washed out roads, houses, driveways.....even the main highway 11/17. Crazy weather!

Mind you i'd take that over tornados and hurricanes anyday

My son the Marine was camping out somewhere in Michigan on maneuvers with his unit last weekend. The next day they learned there had been several tornados in the area. I was in "tornado alley" and didn't see a single one!

My childhood home was in the way of a flooding creek in Southern Indiana on Saturday. The nearby hospital (a few hundred yards away) had a basement full of water and between six inches and a foot on the first floor. It's still closed and they're not sure when they can reopen; patients were all evacuated to other regional hospitals.

My hometown has had about twice the normal amount of rainfall year to date...we're now up into rainforest levels. But no 100 degree days yet. Not even 90.
