Yeah, I was in Maui for a week to do some thinking, swimming and house hunting. I stayed in Pukalani not too far from the volcano. It was 80 every day all day long. Such a paradise.
When flying home the pilot said, "it's 32 degrees in PDX. I thought maybe I could just stay on the plane under a blanket, and return to Maui with the next flight.
My recommendation- go to paradise, but don't go alone. Too romantic to be alone.
Weather here is all over the map. One day its bitterly cold (-30) and the next it's above zero. I never know how to dress. For the most part the weather in Eastern Ontario is better than Northern Ontario.
30 days till i'm in Florida and enjoying the weather even if it's 60 and raining......lol

We all just finally got over sickness (fun) in my household and can I say that I really hate this cold weather? I want to go outside and play and can't!!! Oh, and that hottie, that cute running partner is playing down in the Florida keys having fun while I'm in this miserable cold stuff - it's not fair. Have I whined enough yet?
