I have been married for 25 years. We have 3 kids, 23, 18 and 15. Just returned from 3 year tour in Germany. Only been back in the states for 6 weeks. 1 week after we get back I find out my husband had been having an affair with a so called friend of ours in Germany. She is also back in the states. This is the third affair he has had. The first time was in 1987 and that last for almost 1 year with again friends of ours. Second time, was 11 years later. Now this one. He nows says he wants to be with me and that the affair is over. He is going to counseling and has been diagnosed as BiPolar and is on depression medication. He is not living with me.
I guess at this point I am so mad at myself for not seeing what was happening. There were times when I saw signs and instead of saying anything, I did not.
I guess i am at a loss right now and Just don't understand.
