Would you consider adding Janis Abrahms Spring's book "How Can I Forgive You?: The Courage To Forgive, the Freedom Not To" the the Helpful Links book list? I found it to be one of the most helpful books I used during my recovery (and heaven knows I read a TON of them!)

I agree this was a great book. Made me feel a lot better about me CHOOSING to stop beating myself up for not WANTING to forgive him! I learned accepting what happened was good enough to continue having a strong loving marraige.
Forgiveness was my choice... and frankly what he did was unforgivable! It wasn't about me not loving him, or not beating him up anymore, it was simply the term forgiveness was something I could not wrap my heart around. Choosing to love, choosing to let go of revenge thoughts I could deal with, I call that acceptance. This book helped me to deal with my own pain about not being a forgiving person.
Glad you recomended it.
Hi dear Ami, and Tom, speaking of people who mean a lot to me!

I'm patient. I'll keep bumping this up until you have a chance to add it because I think it's such a great book that all BS, maybe all people, need to read it.

Thanks, Tom. I wasn't upset or anything, and I certainly understand how easy it is to get overwhelmed and not remember to get everything done you want to get done. I figured that you would get around to it when you got the chance, and I know I don't mind when I get reminded about tasks that I really do intend and want to accomplish, so I figured you probably wouldn't mind my bumping this up.

Thanks for the reminder. I've obviously continued with my recalcitrant behavior on this. I had not forgotten, but I have not been diligent in "getting 'er done". I did some work a while ago (October), but did not complete it.

Funny you should say that, Helen, because if there is one thing people have commented to me on, it was that I have patience. I wish I had more (don't we all!).
Thank you, Tom. I am sure you are quite busy, as life never lets up, does it? Unfortunately, in addition to being patient, I am also often anxious and want to make sure things don't get forgotten--the joy of having OCD!
