thought this might grab yiour attention! HE HE. Ths is a request fromk an elderly Lady for me to do a simple end table out of a piece of Black Walnut from a tree in her yard that was cut down & left over, I relapced her piece with this as hers was way small. She wats to give this to a Male friend for helping her out after her accident wereas she had both shouilders broken due to somone speeding through life & not smelling the roses (Thanks Gab!) I think she will be happy presenting this to him for Christmas & it has given me my fiorswt experience at real Bas relief as I was informed last night by my Son out West that this it what it is called?

I like your reliefs carvings.

You told me that you had your epoxy story in a word format. I would sure like to the time to read through it. I'm pretty sure it was in one of the back UCCG newsletters, but not sure where I put that issue. Now that it is winter and I have a bit more time on my hands I would love to see what you came up with. We have never used epoxy for finish, just oils and varnish. I loved the look of the epoxy process on the beaver yesterday. I don't always like real shiny, but on some carvings it looks awesome. Also how long have you been doing the epoxy, I ask this because I was wondering if it was like spar in the way of peeling after awhile. Sometimes spar turns into a real mess. I am real curious if epoxy might be a better long term finish.

Thanks Robbin, I appreciate how you share your talents with everyone else.
