Just wanted to say Hello. I'm new to the site and new to carving. I did get a chance to go to " Carving in the Ozarks" this year and met a wonderful bunch of carvers. It was my first event and I was made to feel very welcome. I love to carve and hope to meet many of you likeminded.

Be careful... this Art form can be very addictive (lol).
You got to see a very talented group there in Missouri. That will get your creative juices flowing. Don't forget to check the events page at the top of this forum to see if there is some other fun events in your area. There are always very helpful carvers out there or here to answer any questions you might have.

Thank you to all! Jerry - I am addicted already but thanks for the warning. I had a wonderful time in the Ozarks. You are right! They are an an extremely talented bunch of carvers. I made many friends and meeting Luke Harris was an honor. Ed - I will visit alot (f I can remember my password). Brian and Jen have some of the pics of what I have carved this year. I love feedback for improvement. Brian and Jen - thanks for everything that you guys have done for me and shared with me throughout my process of poking my head into the carving world.
