Just thought it would be good to discuss how people insure their collections. I have been collecting for years, but only a few months ago had it insured.
Every couple of months I send a detailed list of my collection and the values of each item to the insurance company and that determines how much I pay. Good to know it's there.
What are your experiences with insurance? What lessons have people learned? And has anyone actually had to recover for damaged items?
