I have no proof of any of this, just offering up my opinions. I'd love to hear what others have to say

McGahee Bills autographed "game used jersey"

How many game issued versions of these have been sold at NFL auctions? Anyone think this could be one of them? In my opinion there are too many of these out there that are game issued to believe this is game used.

I've seen a buch of those sold from NFL Auctions when they were game issued
"The tail has been customized with unused velcro fasteners front and back with original covers intact - a feature Thomas must have preferred to do without."

Hmm- sounds like a possible game issued jersey

tagged 2002, worn in 2003 in the Chargers playoff game

note: in 2003 the Chargers were 4-12. don't think they were in the playoffs that year

Vintage Authentics-Mcgahee

I can pretty much can assure you that is not a game used McGahee. For one thing, it's tagged 03 O. Which means it's a offensive linemen's jersey from 2003. Just look at the sleeves. McGahee wore full sleeves in all games. You can check all the Bills photos from this years web site. NFL auctions sold two Willis jerseys this year, both with full sleeves. These FAKE jerseys have been on ebay all year being sold by ASI. The first one they tried to sell was covered in mud. They played it up to show how much game wear it had. The sad thing for these bozos is that the Bills play on field turf, NO MUD. You would think these experts would know this. I called them on it, but they said they stood behind their authentication. A day later it was pulled. A day later it was back. And a day later pulled again. Only to show up again, this time clean.
I thought that either american or vintage sold a McGahee like this (2003 O) last auction as "game issue". Again he doesn't wear this style.

Also, all over ebay and these other auction houses McGahee shoes have been showing up, again not matching up with pics from this years games. So, Willis is now selling his own stuff on his own web site and ebay.To read the listing it's easy to see that one reason he's doing this is because the others are fakes. In the description he points out that if you buy from any other party they're NOT (which is underlined) real. I'm going to e-mail McGahee's web site for the real story.

It is sad that so much fake stuff is showing up these days. While I collect Bills game jerseys I hate to bid on anything out there any more. I wish Jim Jackel still had a relationship with the Bills. Besides the NFL and the players themselves, he's about the only one I feel I trust in buying from.
