I'm hoping some of the forum members can help me locate photos of the O's wearing their green St. Patrick's Day jerseys from the 1980's. I've tried the usual Getty and Corbis sites but have had no luck (or my search criteria is terrible). Please let me know if anyone on the forum can help me out. Thanks!

I'm assuming you are asking about the green St. Pat's jerseys because you either own, are considering buying, or have seen the so-called "Cal Ripken Jr. St. Pat's jersey". This jersey has been offered on Ebay and once in an auction. It is a grenn Orioles jersey with white 8 and Ripken on back. I tried to locate a photo, baseball card, media guide photo, etc., not only of Ripken wearing a grenn jersey, but of any Orioles player wearing such St. Patrick's garb. I NEVER located any photos, and later learned that the O's never wore St. Pat's jerseys. After thinking about it, if indeed they did wear these green jerseys, why have we never seen a common player, coach or any position player's jersey offered in the hobby besides Ripken?

Intersting item, too bad it is not a game worn Ripken St. Pat's jersey.
