I am new to this particular forum. I collect gameworn hockey goaltender's jerseys normally do business on gameworn.net, but I also collect some baseball jerseys and was pointed to this site as a resource . Here's the thing: I found 2 posts on Sunday in the for sale forum that I was interested in and posted stating my interest. I included my email so the seller could contact me.I have yet to hear back from either seller. I am becoming impatient waiting for a reply. Am I overreacting? Personally if I post something for sale or trade in the gameworn forum I check the board daily to see if anyone has expressed an interest so that I can contact them immediately. I feel it is important to do this. I want collectors to feel like they've had a positive experience when dealing w/me . HEY! maybe I'm just an anal retentive a-hole . Any opinions on this matter? I'd be interested to read others opinions.

Hi Paul,
I agree with you, three days is a pretty long time to be waiting for a reply. I think that there is some kind of email etiquette/rule that suggests that emails should receive a response within 24 hours. One thing that you might want to try is emailing the person directly. If you click on their user name it may have an email address attached to it. It seems like anyone who posts stuff for sale should be checking the site daily but life get crazy sometimes as we all know. I would personally just do a follow-up with the sellers.
I think that if somebody is offering an item for sale, that their e-mail address should be readily available. A direct e-mail to the seller is more personal, and usually commands a faster response.
I did email one seller directly because he included his email at the bottom of his post. The other didn't have an email. I did include my email in my posts so they could contact me. I just feel that if you offer something for sale or if you are inquiring about a sellers item and they do respond to you, then you should not leave them hanging. It goes both ways. If I am selling I contact intersted parties immediately and if a seller replies to an inquiry I have about his item I email back quickly and let him know if I want the item or don't want it.
