I purchased a GU Guerrero bat a while back that is an Easton. There a little tape on the handle and it is labeled with his name and Expos on the barrel. The barrel and knob both are marked 27. Does anyone know if Guerrero did use an Easton bat earlier in his career?
The photo is a tough call. It also looks a little like some of the SAM bats that he uses. It does look similar to the top bat in the bottom photo though. Mine is a cherry color throughout the bat and I believe it is a ProStix I13 (from memory, the bat is at work).
I looked through Getty Images and found photos of Guerrero using many different types of bats. The only constant was in his inconsistency. I saw him using Sam, X-Bat, LS, Glomar, and Rawlings. I saw a few photos that could be Easton, but can't tell 100%.
Vlad's inconsistent bat usage ... reminds me of Rickey Henderson

Guys,
That looks like a SAM bat to me.
Also, Marcus is correct, Vlad uses all different kinds of bats (very inconsistent) ... reminds me of Rickey Henderson. There seems to be little rhyme or reason to it. With that said, it makes for fun collecting as there are so many variations/kinds to collect. With Rickey, you could spend a lifetime collecting all of his different bats as they differ in [make, model, regular v. postseason, team (he was on a ton of different teams), era, preparation (shaved handle, nothing, tape, pine tar, tape with pine tar, etc.), spelling of his name on barrel (I've seen Rick, R., Rickey, Ricky, and a number of other players' names when he's borrowed bats, such as Jose Offerman, as well as just Henderson), majors versus minors, etc. etc.]. Vlad is on his way to being in the same class in terms of bat collecting.
