Question for Forum

I constantly get emails of people wanting to know the size of players hats and cleats that I work with. Is the only purpose for this so they can sell fake game used knock-offs? I don't want to be rude and not respond but it just doesn't make sense. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Emil

While that is certainly a possibility, the other possibility to consider that there is a possibility that the peson might want to wear the item they are purchasing. There are some collectors that wear their collections.

Interesting issue, Emil.

That is an ethical dilemma. Some of the people contacting you likely have very honorable intentions (such as wanting to have the correct information before bidding on a hat or pair of cleats on Ebay, for example). But, unfortunately, you are probably correct that there are other people who have the intentions you listed. When you are unsure, I think it is best to give the person the benefit of the doubt. It is up to you, of course. - - - - - Good question for discussion!
