very simple question re: tagging

hi,

I have a very simple question regarding
the typical tagging for Rawlings baseball
jerseys during the late 80's/early 90's.

As most of you have seen, most of the Rawlings
jerseys from that time period (regardless of
team) have a small year/set tag sewn into/underneath
the main Rawlings manufacturer tag. The year/set tag
looks identical from team to team. It usually
says something like "1991 set 1".

My question:
Were these tags sewn into the jerseys by Rawlings
(at the Rawlings factory) or were they sewn in by the respective teams in the clubhouse?

thanks,
Rudy.
