I hate to call this out, but Rainbowdreamer bought an item from me last year and it was Ron. Ron told me when I was suprised it was him that he used that username to buy items under so people didn't know he was the one bidding. Looks like they got him for shill bidding. Sad because he gets great items! I think that is a permanent kick off eBay . . .
Thanks,
Chris Boyd

Normally it would be a permanent suspension from ebay. But as always, there are exceptions to the rules.
Broadway Rick was caught shill bidding on his own auctions and this actually made national news. Yet he is still on ebay with the same account and still selling.
In comparing the amount that each of these individuals sell on ebay, it would appear that the more money you make ebay, the more flexible they are in regard to the rules.
The Broadway Rick story is well known. I still see that story link on message boards. I think he may have received a 24 hr. suspension. Power Sellers can pretty much do as they please on eBay.
TRUST NO ONE....that's basically what this hobby has boiled down to. There are no good guys. Ron was supposed to be one, but if Ron was shill bidding, then he is STEALING people's money, and is CORRUPT.

here is what is now posted on his forum under "News" - - - - - -
"July 4, 2005. We have changed our eBay screen name from "Gameusedkid" to "CSIGamers." Please make a note of this. I have begun posting items to our U.C.L.A. Bruins game used basketball sections. I hope to have everything up soon"
Did anyone email or contact him to get his explanation? - - - - this would be interesting to hear about.

i dont know if i am correct but he does sign up for four different ebay accounts ??
if u do the search you will find csigamers, csigames3, csigames1, csigames2
is it allowed to do that ?
...you can do pretty much what you want on eBay. Witness shsandrs, one of the biggest purveyors of "game used" (cough, cough) jerseys of the past few years. (I wonder what he DID with all those blank, year-tagged Orioles jerseys he bought at Fan Fest every year?)
I, along with several other users, reported him to eBay several times for selling obvious fakes, and eBay did NOTHING.

In response to mchmaj's message, those three "related" usernames don't seem to belong to Ron. They all originate out of Oklahoma and don't have any sports-related transactions.
Marcus Chmaj should be the last one to criticize...

AKA 1901gamers - You don't have aleg to stand on with all the bad stuff you sell. You have bought several items from me. I have seen your stuff on ebay, and it is all fake, the tagging, the sizes, are all bad. They are all replica jerseys. How about the LSU jersey you had on a couple weeks ago. I can go down the list of bad jerseys. You are an embarassment. I see you all over the message board and all you do is criticize everybody. You never have anything positive to say about anybody, when you are the one that is a fraud.

Shill Bidding is a problem on Ebay. I was winning a bat for the extremly low opening bid, up until the last minute, when the bat took off by $50. I checked the winners previous auction wins and he had never bought ANY sports items, but was a collector of Western paintings and art. Sure made me wonder..........

Ron,
I don't know where you did get the idea of me selling fake jerseys on ebay, and my ebay account is not 1901gamers- it is 1901jerseys so perhaps you got the wrong person?
you need to get more evidence first before you present it on this forum.
I can ensure you I do not sell fake jerseys, and for a fact, i never owned a LSU jersey nor sold it before.
If you want clarification, please do give me a list of jerseys that are FAKE. this is very offending to me as a jersey collector that you ASSUME that i am selling fake jerseys.
Now, next time if you are unsure about my jerseys, please do e-mail me and we can clear up any confusion.
The purpose of this forum is for everyone to share their concerns and to avoid shilling biddings on e-bay. the last topic i discussed on this forum was about shilling bidding and i wanted to share my experience and to ensure this would not happen again.
You are quick to attack Marcus, but what about the allegations of shill bidding? By not responding, it does not make things look good. Clearly you read this forum. Don't you have anything to say about the alleged shill bidding?
I found that response curious as well. To say "oh yeah! well Marcus is crooked," isn't exactly a denial. In fact it's a deflection and actually tells me a lot. That seemed very strange.
CSI- please explain
Matt
