Hi, Look what I found at the Flea Market today. Not a great game used Babe Ruth bat I was looking for, but still sort of neat. The guy told me it was a team signed ball from every team that played in the 1990 Carribean World Series. I guess according to him the Dominican Republic won Bronze, Puerto Rico won silver, amd he couldn't remember who won gold. There are 12 balls in all in an original box. 3 Single signed balls, 9 team signed (a few duplicates Puerto Rico balls). Comes with an incomplete set of rosters and team photos taken by this guy.



I know it is not game used, but just curious if there was anyone that collected these items!

I couldn't really see the roster from the scan too clearly. I was just wondering if their were anyone notable on the balls, or if you had been able to find such signature on any of the balls.

I see Omar Linares, one of Cuba's greatest players,who I think tried to play in Japan?

Omar was one of the reasons why I bought the lot. I don't know if he played in the series. I am still trying to do some research. All 12 balls are Official Mexican League Balls and have some sort of Bear or animal swinging a bat. Pretty Neat!
