I do not understand what Fair Market means.
Is it the prices on eBay? Is it the price it would sell at a major auction house? Is it the price a local collector would pay for his local hero? What is fair market?
Aren't dealers expected to pay a price to make a profit? If something is worth $1800, why would a dealer pay $1800? Everyday items are bought up on eBay and then resold in retail stores, which is the fair market?
An item is worth what someone is willing to pay, so I am trying to determine what people mean when they use the expression "Fair Market".
