ANYWAY, HOW RARE ARE ORANGE ASTROS HELMETS AND WHAT IS A GOING PRICE FOR ONE? I KNOW THEY WERE USED FROM 75-82, SO THERE MUST NOT BE TOO MANY AROUND.

That was me! Yes, they are very rare! I sold the one I had to a forum member. It was an unidentified player. I collect anything and everything game used Astros, but like player specific. I have a 1965-68 John Bateman Astros Blu helmet that are the rarest! These are the old fiberglass/thick plastic helmets. Do you have an orange Astros helmet?
