Does anyone have information of why they wore this armband? Did they wear it for the entire season or just part?

This is a shot in the dark but I remember Reggie Lewis died in July of 1993 but that wouldn't explain the armband in 92.

i have 2 Boston Celtics game used road jersey (D. Radja and D. Brown) with the the 35 black armband - tagged 93/94.

Could be jersey tagged 1992-93 but used in 1993-94 in pre-season games. As memory serves me they wore the previous years jerseys in the exhibition games before going to the current year jerseys for the regular season games (I don't know if they had the memorial band for pre-season). Since the style is the same and at least part of the time the Celtics had the name on back put on them selves then it could simply have been a left over from 1992-93 that they then used in 1993-94 imho.

The black armband was worn in memory of Johnny Most who passed away in January of 1993.
