I found out about this site after I bought a pair of Fenway Park seats, but am curious if Fenway Park EVER numbered any seats in any section from right to left, ie., 9,8,7,6, etc., versus the current left to right, 6,7,8,9, etc. The sections go left to right as you look at the seats, so it makes sense the seats do as well.
All the old photos I have seen from the Boston Public Library shows only the current left to right, yet the seats I bought go oposite, "9,8"....which seems convenient to Teddy Ballgame and Yaz. The cast iron and seats match the style of early Fenway Park grandstand, but the back slats look newer......and those right to left numbers have me wondering.
Any thoughts or websites to help verify stadium seats is appreciated. Thanks!
