I was just wondering how ot put a value on game used batting helmets. It seems that game used fielding gloves seem to be the most valuable item a player uses with their Jersey close behind. I have been told that players sometimes use the same batting helmet for more than one year in a row. I have also been told that most teams don't let their batting helmets reach the public. If someone could please email me that might know the potential value of these items I will email the team and player info immediately. I do not want to get anyone in trouble for selling them to me that is why I can't post the players names. I also just received a Craig Hansen game used Portland Sea Dogs alternate (weekend) jersey that is signed game used 2005 as well as 3 game used Craig Hansen Portland Sea Dogs hats (home, away, batting practice. Any info on the potential value of these items would be greatly appreciated.

Batting helmets are greatly undervalued(Except if you find yourself in SteinerLand). A year ago I got a Todd Zeile Met helmet for $75 on e-bay and a Met Desi Relaford for $45. Stick with Finest Sports Collectibles of Long Island(Junior093 on e-bay)or b+e Collectibles of Thornwood who are right now at the Ft Washington Show in Pennslyvania.
