I recently acquired two newer style game worn Reds BP jerseys, both the red version. These are Majestic jerseys with the thin black piping across the top of the shoulder near the front. I have my doubts about these jerseys since both are covered with small pulls. I have three other similar style Reds BP jerseys in my collection and none have wear anything like this. There is maybe five pulls between the three, if that. I can't see how baseball jerseys can get this type of wear unless they were washed with a cactus. Does anyone have any of these jerseys with similar wear? The seller is willing to refund my money if I'm not happy with them but I figured I'd check with other collectors first to obtain any information.

Haven't had experience w/ the newer Reds BP jerseys, but made a bulk buy of over 40 from the club a couple years back & saw similar wear to what you are describing throughout the group. Doesn't sound out of the ordinary, just my opinion..Had multiple jerseys w/ pulls out of that lot. While the Reds won't give LOA's any longer, you may ask the seller for a copy of the receipt of purchase. Employees will type the NOB of the jersey on the receipt when asked. I do know the Reds have cut loose several newer BP jerseys & still have a few for sale at the team store. Hope this helps.
