I have never seen a photo of Arod using a Rawlings as a Mariner, but have seen him use Rawlings in batting practice. If you are looking for an Arod gamer you might want to get a black Louisville either P72 or C271.

Mike,

I can't say I recall a photo of him using one off the top of my head, but I remember that he did use them pretty regularly as Coast to Coast and Mill Creek had some that were straight from AROD and just destroyed with use. I had a couple of them at one time and they were some of the best AROD bats I'd ever seen. Did you look on Getty or Corbis?

How do you use Getty and/or Corbis

Reid: Can you tell me how you utilize Getty and/or Corbis to confirm the authenticity of a particular item? Do you have an paying account with them? Do you input the player, or item to get the picture? Do you input a particular year? How often (or not) do you get a confirming pictures. Stuff like that. Thanks

Rick,

The websites are www.corbis.com and www.getty-images.com - there is no fee. Just hop on there and it is self-explanatory as to how to do searches for photographs/pictures.

Hi, Mike:

I like to think that I have a lot of good (if not superb) game used bats - rgf2@hotmail.com is my email and anyone can contact me to request a list. I just sent the list out to you. Thanks for asking,

Reid

P.S. I just posted a response to Anthony's query about the AROD Mariners bat on eBay (see the section of the forum on current auction items for the thread). The AROD Rawlings Mariners bat on eBay looks like a killer to me. $399 is the minimum bid which is more than reasonable. Good luck if you decide to bid.
