I recently acquired a powder blue style Ken Oberkfell Cardinals jersey in trade and it has a rawlings tag inside the hem but no set tag/year. It shows use. Has anyone ever come across anything like this?

I've known some mid-70s Cardinal home knits missing year tags. It's not impossible for the tag to have been removed either through washing or by hand.

While Oberkfell was popular in his day, he was no superstar, so the odds of there being a salesman's sample made in his name seem remote.

So, without seeing pics, I'd say your item is legit*.
