Nothing from the Red Sox, that bat would be a tuff find, I think Benny was with the Red Sox for a couple of months and then traded to the Rockies. Didnt he finish up with a Triple A K.C. Royals team before going to japan? Do you have any bats for sale?
The Red Sox gamer would be a great find. I'd even like an unused one if I could find one. I think he was in the KC organization before he headed to Japan, too. Sorry, but I don't have any bats for sale.
hey, i was a batboy for benny when he played for the royals and he came thru town with a believe some cherry colored louisvilles with boston red sox on them. i never got one but i remember seeing him use those bats. there are probably some in omaha with the bat collectors there if you could find them. also why does rawlings put tides on bats and no other minor league team? i have a rob stratton tides rawlings bat. i have also seen a ryan mcguire tides bat also.
This is off topic, but a few years back at the Cleveland Indians "Garage Sale" they had a game used/worn Mets black jersey of Benny's for $60. I'd have picked it up, but they limited you on jerseys that day, when I went back through it was gone. Thought you might find that intersting. Don't know how it ended up there.
Forget about the Benny Agbayani bat on Hartel's website. I placed an order for that Benny Rockies bat, only to find out via an email that the bat was not available. Okay, fair enough. I didn't respond in time. Several weeks go by, and I tried their website again. What? Another Benny Rockies bat? So I tried to make another purchase, and was again told it was not available and that the website was not being updated. I've heard many good comments about them in a recent thread, but, unless they can get their Internet act together, I won't rely on their product availability via their website anymore.
