It depends what Angel's strengths and weaknesses are at this point. For Sofia, we started Occupational Therapy (OT) at 3 weeks. At that time, it was clear that she preferred to keep her head turned to one side rather than the other. So we worked on "shifting her world" and forcing her to want to turn her head in the other direction.
IT's really little stuff at this point, but it does make a huge difference. And having an OT (or PT or SP or any of the other professionals you'll get from EI) is terrific. Even as an experienced mom (I have 2 older kids) I found myself wishing I'd had EI for the boys too! Having a calm, experienced professional come in and tell me I was doing fine was a great confidence builder.
