Whew! What a trying time! We have scheduled our EI evaluation with our new area coordinator for next Wednesday morning the 23rd. The coverage area for these folks includes our kids' current daycare as well as our soon-to-be home and pediatrician's office.
They were most apologetic as to the uncalled-for treatment by the group zoned to our current home (i.e., lying to us about DS not being an automatic qualifier, not calling as promised). They (the new folks) have been trying to get Brooke's files for more than THREE WEEKS now to no avail. When I stop by during my lunch hour tomorrow, you best believe they'll give me her file...
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know. You all are most helpful ~ especially with the recent thread on IESPs. When the time comes it will certainly help having this information from those of you expereinced moms and dads.
I'll let you know how it goes next week.
