FS: RARE Lemania/Tissot military PILOT’S NAVIGATOR Chronograph South African AIR FORCE
VINTAGE little brother of the Lemania Swedish AIRFORCE Pilots chronograph. Model was used by the SAAF. I am told by the person I bought this from that the case back shows a rough removal of the military markings.
• Same watch as the Lemania Sweden. same case, hands, crystal, same high grade manual wind Lemania movement, same dial except for “TISSOT” written on it; and same crown.
• bezel excellent without dents, matte grey
• Case is near perfect.
• Beautiful even golden patina on the numbers.
• A very fine and perfectly functioning rare vintage military piece. Very similar to the Heuer Bund at a lower price point. Has not been polished, or restored. Service history is unknown. Keeps excellent time and all chrono functions fine. Nice aging to the lume of the dial and hands. diameter with crown: 44 mm, without crown 41 mm; lug to lug: 48 mm
