This is one of the classic re edition watches, styled on Heuers early Autavia in splendid retro styling. This one is in superb condition worn just a handful of times. Heuer have had a long association with motor sport and the Autavia signifies that representation by virtue of its name, functions, practicability and durability. It is a sturdy and substantial stainless steel case with screw on back. Has a sapphire crystal. The winding crown is on the left side of the case so as to avoid any interference with the pushers essential if self timing whilst driving or timing races It has nicely contrasting colours with black dial, white and orange sub dials, and orange sub dial hands, and orange hour markings on the dial. The sub dial at the 3 position is the 60 second chrono, the sub dial at the 9 position is the thirty minute elapsed timer and the sixty second elapsed timer is the large sweeping second hand. Comes on fantastically engineered stainless steel bracelet with double push button deployant and signed clasp. Excellent piece of Heuer and motor sport history. Comes in box with instructions. Dimensions are as follows. Width excluding crown is 42 mm, width including crown is 45 mm, lug to lug is 47.5 mm and thickness is 15 mm.
Excellent condition, approx. 98% new with minor signs of wear and little smudge on the crystal at 11' position( you really need to look for it to see it) . It Runs great and keeps excellent time.
comes mounted on matching stainless-steel bracelet w/ pushbutton deployant clasp and a new perforated orange leather racing strap and original signed box-set.
