Woo hoo.......the crowning glory of my 71/72 opc nhl high grade set....tonight I won the Ken Dryden Gem Mint Card on Mastro for what I think was a steal as I was willing to go much much higher on this card!!

Congrats, That card looks amazing!! I agree that it is a steal for a 1/1 like that and with it being OPC(Rough cut) it is gonna stay 1/1 for a very long time if not ever.

Let's put it this way........I would have been extremely happy if I could've gotten this card for around 6500 Bucks.......I really thought that this card would go through the roof???

Considering it is from one of the most popular sets in the Hockey card market, one of the greatest goalies of all time, Montreal Canadian card and a PSA 10 rookie, I thought for sure this would be out of my reach??

Hey great buy the Dryden in past sales has been stronger.
BVG 9.5 has sold on ebay for 4000.00 June 18 2004. My feelings are that PSA 10's of very popular cards always sell for more then BVG/BGS 9.5's. Dan

I've never really bought into the idea of a gem mint grade, but I would've guessed that that card would've went for more.

Dan I agree.......PSA almost always outsells the BVG cards....I think part of the reason is that BVG does accept sheeters and PSA does not........I have a BVG 8 Ken Dryden opc rookie card also but I broke it open and am trying to get it graded by PSA.....
